GLOBAL APPROACH

HAMA centers its humanitarian action on solidarity which, in its view, should be directed to the institutions most in need following the fundamental principle of impartiality which is widely considered to be an essential element of humanitarian action. In the field, we ensure that this principle is always respected or successfully implemented. Studies and evaluations have repeatedly found in these institutions that emergency responses are often based on poor or non-existent analysis, and driven by available resources, rather than specific support needs. Decisions about who to help and how to help them are often weakly based on evidence (reports and pictures) yet the neglected emphasis of a formal and holistic ongoing needs assessment presents a failure of the state system to play a marginal role in the decision-making process of many humanitarian actors.

What about human resource management?

HAMA FOUNDATION identifies two (02) forms of resources namely: human resources and thematic resources. For this it is necessary to respond to a legitimate need for clarity when there is a question of compensation at stake when we are in a “non-profit” sector which seems sensitive both for volunteering (member, volunteer and voluntary) than for donors. Wealth management is thus non-profit. We consider that it is a tool at the service of the pursuit of our missions of general interest. To this end, HAMA FOUNDATION is subject to the management of the various departments within it which operate in such a way as to capitalize on knowledge, on good practice, on the grouping of donation funds, to strengthen the pooling of resources and skills, the development of the efforts of the participants, on the mechanisms of the foundation which aims to promote, develop our structure, to encourage the sharing of experiences and expertise between us and the beneficiary institutions. .
