The institution 🔆 Christian Family 🔆

The FAMILLE CHRETIENNE institution was created in 1978 by the enthusiasm of its founder who committed herself to Christian work through visits to hospitals where she assisted the sick and abandoned on the street when she was still that at the age of 23, great was her vision to overcome the poverty of which she was a victim in her childhood, the trigger was in 1981 when she met a two-day-old baby abandoned at the maternity ward of the he central hospital of Yaoundé, this is how the FAMILLE CHRETIENNE foundation welcomes children in difficulty, that makes about 35,000 children since 1996, including those with disabilities, mental disorders, deficits, orphans, etc. …

The HAMA FOUNDATION’s outing on 22 May 2021 at the CHRISTIAN FAMILY institution located in the ESSOS-NOUVELLE ROUTE CORNELIEN district was marked by the celebration of the anniversary of the children of the said institution, which we have named ” the angels of May “The report notes that most of these children admitted to most shelters are unaware of their dates of birth, are unknown and are usually given a baptismal name.

In the absence of division of time, thought, anguish and complexity of any kind in the face of their social situation and carried by the passion of the warmth of each emotion and the spontaneity of the smiles; we all wanted to mark our presence for this event of sharing the greatest wealth that is love to those who need it most.

 Being in search of the best for these children, most of whom are mentally handicapped, neurodevelopmentally handicapped, autistic, abandoned children, children with handicapped or mentally handicapped parents, orphans. It was noticed that although this institution has volunteers who work for the welfare of these children during a recent fire, it has lost its first source of income and is requesting to regain its autonomy.

As a result of which needs were identified during the time spent in this institution.

💠 Building materials to set up their main activity which was ravaged by the flames of the fire: muneserie workshop.

💠 Need a relay by professional and qualified staff for the medical and psychological care of children with different problems.

💠 Need medicines and medical equipment in their health centre.
