📑 About HAMA FONDATION

Cameroon, an actor on the international scene since January 1, 1960, has given itself, through its leaders, the consolidation of peace. If the latter has always been jointly strengthened, the fact remains that since 2009 to date, Cameroon has faced many security crises, in particular that caused in the Far North by Boko Haram and the NOSO crisis and more recently the health crisis of covid 19 which rages in the world. In order to deal with the various consequences caused by all these agitations, HAMA FOUNDATION has been proposing since March 30, 2021 to equip itself with these technical skills to respond to many of the issues underlying its creation.

In our African context, and more specifically in Cameroon, most of the aid offered by organizations and civil society actors to vulnerable groups (orphanages, hospitals, prisons, social reintegration centers for young offenders, crisis areas, etc. etc.) is mainly made up of basic necessities and all of these institutions are for the most part more or less places of reception, accommodation and supervision that are often insufficient for the observed demand. This while their situation has a considerable psychosocial impact which is not always taken into account by the help that is offered; there is an office of agony and an intrinsic request that has been addressed to us. This is how we thought of setting up a relay structure that could make available to these populations not only basic necessities, to meet specific basic needs, but also psychosocial and psychological support, this in order to contribute to the biopsychosocial well-being of these populations.

This project is born from our passion for psychology and its popularization within African society; by giving it the character of a current problem for many disciplines, companies and structures as being one solution among many others in terms of function, attribution and profession, to have a scientific basis, to to filter and to strip our action through a systematic analysis, to sculpt the data by the conquest, the construction and the observation of a general problem in these already existing institutions. Therefore, we are in a reality where the need is felt insofar as a social fact always finds its cause in a previous social fact. We are an institution made up of a dynamic and competent team due to our multidisciplinary diversity, each contributing its stone to the ideal of this building through action plans applicable in the field according to relevance, clarity and feasibility.
